Sunday School Helpers Needed

Juniors

We are in need of people willing to help with the junior department of the Sunday
School. For the past year Jennifer Hark ing has been planning all of the activities
of the junior section on her own and needs people to step forward to help her
with this. If you are willing to help Jennifer in any way even if you can’t commit to
helping every week then please speak to her or myself.

Seniors

As I feel God’s call on my life leading me to do more work with Open Air
Campaigners, so I feel that God is calling me to preach on a more regular basis on
a Sunday morning, because of this I have had to step back from being able to
commit to teaching in the Senior Sunday School every week. This means that for
many weeks the only permanent teacher is Simon Woodington. Unfortunately, due
to child protection issues, Simon cannot teach on his own. We are therefore looking for people who are willing to help with the Senior Sunday School. If you are willing to commit to teach ing every week or if you would be willing to be part of a rota system with myself and some others then please let me know.

We are looking to increase the numbers within the Sunday School as we look at what
we can do as a church to go out into the community to spread the word of God. As a
church Jesus left us with a command to go out and make disciples, and without
additional helpers in the Sunday School some of the Sunday School sections will
have to close, and we will be unable to teach the children and young people of our
community about what it means to have a personal relationship with God. If you can
help in any way, even if it is only on an occasional basis, please let me know.
